Einstein Hand Made Doll
Sharon Doaner created this fabulous Einstein Doll for her child.We include her comments explaining how and why she made the doll. While Einstein is not uniquely associated with HOUSE, he most definitely is with Princeton and so this inclusion to our gallery.
"I created an wire armature for the body, sculpted the forearms, hands, legs, head as closely as possible to match the photo.I did research and found he was wearing the leather bomber jacket and I simulated thas as well.He is wearing no stockings and buck shoes. Albert Einstein did not like to wear stockings. The hair is mohair. I vrated this Albert Einstein (my very 1st scultpture) for my son. I saw him overcome many obstacles as he grew into manhood.I grew to appreciate my son's mind and spirit on a much deeper level of respect (besides the obvious LOVE). So, this Albert Einstein is a tribute and a gift to him.One of Alberts famous quotes is that I see in my own son. It is this:"Logic will take you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere."-Einstein
