First of all, I would like to thank every actor, crew member, writer for doing what you do. And Hugh, I love your humor.
I am seven teen years old, and a senior in high school thank the lord. The only medical experiance I have, is haveing an eating disorder, (I feel very positive about recovery), so I know the basics: heart rate, blood pressure, emotions, nutrition, etc. What I don't know, is seizures, that is until Hous came around. I started watching last summer, and still catching up, but the show is awesome.
So, yesturday, in sculpture, something happened, and no I did no, my sculpture did not break, so I would have to start over. The girl who sits next to me usually comes in upset a lot, and it was one of those days. While I was wandering how to cheer her up, she fell back. I was expecting for her eyes to open, but they didn't, so I was shocked. Then, she started twitching.
Everyone crowded around, while the episodes of House came back to me. I told my classmates that she was seizing. My teacher came and helped while my teacher I got her on her side. We pushed objects and held her limbs still. Remembering my hospital days, I counted her pulse, but not on the minuete, only her high pulses (which were in the 100s)since there was no clock. Her pulse eventually slowed, and she began to calm down.
She began gasping for air and we proped her neck up so she can breath. By that time, the principle came and someone called for 911. Her seizures stopped, and she was unconcios, yet calm. And that's my story.
That day (yesturday) was pretty scary, but I could not have done it without House. House is not just a t.v show, it is a tool. A tool we can use to survive, and well, adapt humor and learn to NOT LIE. Once again, thank you.
